When the Bohemia was part of the austro-hungarian empire, when refrigerators were not yet been invented, when the brewers weren’t afraid of generously use the special Saaz hops, the “Pils” were largely popular all over Europe. With their flowery and herbaceous flavor, their light and dry mounthfeel, their mild spicy and bitter final, they were the best for refreshing and satisfy kings and peasantry.
Naturally not filtered, not pasteurized and cool fermented
our Pils tries to reproduce the style of this original beer,
unfortunately twisted by the advent of the industrial brewery.
